It is important for foster parents to share their experience. They help each other adapt faster and easier and build good relations between all family members. Therefore, one of the tasks of our foundation is to form foster parents' clubs in the regions and to transfer the experience of effective work of such communities to them. The main principle of the work of foster parents’ clubs is peer-to-peer help.
Twice a year, the Foundation organizes internships for active foster parents and interested non-for-profit organizations from the regions. For three days, the Foundation specialists talk how to build the club work properly, set up resource groups for foster parents, organize meeting of the children with the candidates for foster parents, how to work with the local administration and the press, and so on.
In addition, during the year, the Foundation regularly conducts workshops for foster families on various subjects. For parents from the regions, the workshops are broadcasted online.
